ABOUT THE CEO

Lubna Najjar is an accomplished entrepreneur, brand developer, and fashion designer, with over a decade of experience in the fashion and brand development industries. As the founder of IL Moda Brand Development (2012-present) and Her Denim, LLC, she has played a pivotal role in building and launching over 150 fashion brands, focusing on contemporary and influencer-led labels. Lubna was the curator and developer of the official Fashion District in downtown Columbus, Ohio, showcasing her ability to shape and drive industry initiatives on a large scale.

Beyond her work in brand development, Lubna has made significant contributions to fashion education as the co-author of the academic textbook *The Power of Branding in Fashion 2000 & Beyond*. Her leadership extends into industry governance, having served as the former Board President of the Columbus Fashion Council and as Chair of the Entrepreneurship Committee on the Better Business Bureau’s Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Guild for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
