IL Moda Brands was the agency in charge of spearheading the development of the newest retail shopping district in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The 14th largest city in the county and the top 3 retail test markets as well as the #3 city for concentration of fashion designers in the USA. IL Moda played a pivotal role in the development, training, and formulation of the district.
The property is owned by a local agency, CDDC & Cap South and was vacant for almost 2 decades. The district has been turned over into a retail and fashion destination for the midwest offerings mens, womens, homewear, footwear gifts and more. The contemporary shopping location is supported by the Columbus Fashion Council and on going efforts by IL Moda Brands and the Downtown Development Corporation.
The ribbon cutting welcomed current and former Mayors, city leadership and the CEO of the CFDA.
